Meditation Classes


RiverSound Retreat, is located in the center of nature perfect for meditating.  Sunlight through the trees, the sound of the rippling river, and birdsong can help to ground and relax you through your mediation.

As you meditate you may share your view of the river with heron, osprey and deer; as you breathe in the wisdom of nature that surrounds you.

This space is designed to awaken the awareness of your interconnection to the natural world.

Vipassana Insight Meditation

Our practice includes a short reading and talk from Jill.  We will then share a 30 minute silent meditation with time for sharing and questions.  This class is offered on a traditional Dana (donation) basis.  Please click here for more information about Dana or contact Jill. Open to drop-ins.

Please arrive a few minutes before 10:00 to settle in.

Deepening Dharma

Vipassana Meditation class for students that have completed at least one Meditation for Beginners or Mindfulness in Daily Life series. Chairs are available for sitting or bring your own meditation cushion/bench and mat. This is currently a closed group.

Cultivate the ability to wake up to life as it is unfolding. Foster greater clarity, skillfulness, and peace of mind by awakening to present moment awareness.

Suitable for experienced meditators. This is not a religious practice. All beliefs and faiths are welcome. Chairs are available for sitting. Please bring a notebook or journal to class. If you are new to this class please contact Jill to discuss your previous experience. Prerequisite: Introduction to Meditation
